Chicago-based Drill Rapper Chief Keef continues releasing new music as he dropped an album ‘4 NEM’ in late 2021 and now follow it up with a new song and music video ‘Overhead’ a few days ago.
On the song, Chief Keef has aimed at his nemesis New York-based controversial Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine who put out a hit on Keef almost 4 years ago. Back in 2019, 6ix9ine testified in court that he hired a gunman to shoot Chief Keef in 2018 and promised to pay him $20K but since Chief Keef escaped unharmed and the gunman missed the target the payment was reduced.
In his song ‘Overhead’ Chief Keef addressed the above incident as he rapped taking a shot at rival 6ix9ine “Snitch a— lil’ f-k boy, how you send a hit and tell on the one you sent boy? I’m in good health looking like a f-ing lick boy/You should get a bunny chain ’cause yo’ a— a trick boy”
After 17 months in federal custody, 6ix9ine who was convicted for his involvement in racketeering, a drug trafficking case was released in 2020 because of the Coronavirus spread in New York. Chief Keef first previewed the song ‘Overhead’ to the fans a few weeks after 6ix9ine was released during a Live streaming of GTA V.
