The Weeknd led the pack with 17 category appearances. Doja Cat follows Abel’s lead with 14 overall nominations, including mentions in the Top Hot 100 Artist and Top Streaming Songs Artist classifications. The annual 2022 Billboard Music Awards will be held on Sunday, May 15.
