Nicki Minaj slams new generation, “I thought new btchs just do tweets & interviews”

Following Nicki Minaj’s request for rappers to submit her their verses for the remix to “We Go Up” competitors have stepped up. It’s not every day that a hip-hop superstar who is working on an updated version of her major tune requests verses from musicians all around the world. We’re sure Minaj and her team have been flooded with applications, but Akbar V piqued Nicki’s interest after previewing her suggested addition to the song.

Nicki commented on the post that was shared by The Shade Room of Akbar’s freestyle. The Pink Friday creator wanted to show her respect to Akbar while slamming other rappers in traditional Nicki fashion.

“Oh, ok. Btches still rap?” she wrote. “I thought the new btchs just do tweets and interviews. Waiting on they ghost and I ain’t talkin bout Casper. I ain’t talkin bout a btch car either don’t GAS HER. My bad. Let’s go Akbar.”

Nicki later posted a screenshot of the remark with the caption:

“Say the word & I’ll spook you btchs. Tmrw y’all ? Don’t play.”
