Pusha T returned with his new album ‘It’s Almost Dry’ just last Friday which is the GOOD Music president’s fourth studio album. Push has been going on interviews for the promotion of his album.
On his latest stop at Breakfast Club Pusha T was asked if Ye and Drake’s most recent linkup at Larry Hoover Concert made him squash beef with Drake as well, to which Push made it clear he’s still “outside”. After that, the conversation went further based on the recent surfaced collaboration between Jack Harlow and Drake, where Drake seemingly is aiming at Push once again.
“urges for revenge are uncontrollable/I know we’re gettin’ older though, yeah/But I gotta get a n**** back for that/It’s non-negotiable, it’s not even debatable” rapped Drake in his verse. While these bars can be about anyone his next lines Drake makes some direct references to Pusha T , “All I hear is plug talk comin’ from middleman” and “If I see ya’, I spit in ya’ faces, ha-tu/Daytonas with the green faces”.
Pusha T responded to these alleged shots at him in the interview “It sounds like old to me , flow sound old. Even what is considered like shots, bro after what i’ve done..like the middleman talk and all.. is not scathing to me I’m down to burn everything” He also adds “Bro I’m not subliminal with anybody anymore”.
After Pusha T fired with ‘Story Of Adidon’ , Drake chose not to release his response to Pusha as he told LeBron James during a a chat in 2018 “I have this sort of chink in my armor for the rest of time to a rap purist.Which is fine, I can live with that. I would much rather live with that than the things that I was about to say”
Jack Harlow and Drake’s leaked song is expected to be included in Harlow’s upcoming album “Come Home The Kids , Missed You” arriving on May 6.
