Kendrick Lamar shares update on upcoming project, hinting double album (& book)?

People have been waiting for Kendrick Lamar’s next project for five years, and now that it’s only days away, the Compton rapper is teasing fans with a new picture that hints we could be getting more than just an album.

A fresh image uploaded on Oklama.com suggests a double album and maybe a book. The DAMN creator is seen holding two disks, one marked “Morale” and the other “Steppers,” along with a book titled “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.” It’s worth noticing that both CDs are labeled- “master copy.”

The release date for “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” has been set for May 13th. This will be Lamar’s fifth studio album.

“All factual information for this release will come directly from this source only [Oklama.com],” said Kendrick, so while fans believe, the Compton rapper is working on a double album, the artist and his team have not officially confirmed this.

Even though, Kendrick hasn’t released a solo project since 2017, he has collaborated with his cousin, Baby Keem, on “Family Ties,” for which he received the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance.
