Eminem’s classic album The Eminem Show has been completed 20 years since its release, to celebrate the anniversary Eminem has released an expanded edition of the diamond-certified album.
Expanded Edition includes a never before-heard song titled ‘Jimmy, Brian and Mike’, Ja Rule’s Diss song ‘Bump Heads’ feat. G-Unit members 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, and Lloyd Banks, ‘Stimulate’ and ‘The Conspiracy Freestyle’. It also features live versions of songs Brain Damage, Freestyle #1, The Way I Am, The Real Slim Shady, Just Don’t Give A F—, and various instrumentals from The Eminem Show and his previous albums ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’ and ‘The Slim Shady LP.’
The Eminem Show originally featured Nate Dogg, Dr. Dre, Dina Rae, Obie Trice, D12, and Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade. It was certified 12X Platinum in the United States earlier this year and globally it’s the second best-selling album of the 21st century.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Eminem tells how he got the inspiration for his album “Sing for the Moment” which was the first song I wrote for the album; “Cleanin Out My Closet” was the second. I had the line in “Cleanin Out My Closet” — “I’d like to welcome y’all out to The Eminem Show” — and it was just a line, but I sat back and I was like, “My life is really like a f-ing show.”
