Kanye West wants Danny McBride to play him in his biopic

A documentary on Hip-Hop mogul Kanye West has just been released earlier this year on Netflix titled ‘jeen-yuhs’, but it seems like it’s still not enough for the Yeezy owner.

Appearing on The Hollywood Reporter’s roundtable comedian/actor Danny McBride revealed that Ye has discussed his wish of making a biopic and wanting Danny to play him in the movie. The Eastbound and Down fame tells that he got to spend a day with Kanye “ one time I did get a call from Kanye West. He came to my house in South Carolina and I took him out on the boat. It was one of the most incredible days ever. He said he wanted to do a movie of his life and he wanted me to play him.”

Another comedian in the roundtable discussion Jake Johnson  asked Danny “Could you say no to that if he came and said, “I’m ready to go, it’s a three-day shoot, we’re not sleeping …” to which he responded with Oh, I’m in. (Laughs.) And for a few days, I really was like, “Well, what would that be?”

Kanye himself has yet to officially discuss the above plans of making a movie about his life and wanting Danny to play the role. ‘jeen-yuhs’ documentary which focuses on his emerging years to his successful two decades career as a musician and fashion designer directed by Coodie & Chike was met with positive reactions from fans.
