Two days ago L.A. Rapper Roddy Ricch was arrested right before his performance at the Governor’s Ball Festival in NYC on the charges of unlawful possession of a loaded firearm in his vehicle with other two people. According to reports, one person sitting in front was carrying the firearm has arraigned on Sunday in Brooklyn Court.
Roddy’s charges were dropped the very next day and he was set free but the whole fiasco prevented the 23-year-old rapper from performing at the Festival as the Governor’s Ball social media account issued an apology for Roddy’s absence.
Roddy also shared a clip of himself coming out from jail on his IG story.
On Sunday evening Roddy Returned on stage at the Summer Jam Festival in Metlife Stadium where he asked the thousands of fans to chant “Fuck NYPD” while yelling the chant himself multiple times. Roddy then followed the chant with the performance of his number one hit collaboration with DaBaby ‘ROCKSTAR’ which also contains some anti-police lyrics.
