Gunna Shares a letter from jail on his 29th birthday

Atlanta-based Rapper Gunna who has been arrested and is now in prison shared a statement through a letter on his 29th birthday.

Gunna starts off the two-paged letter by claiming that 2022 is one of the best years of his life despite his arrest in a RICO case. ‘pushin p’ hitmaker has secured his second consecutive number one album at the start of this year with ‘DS4EVER’ which is now the best selling rap album that’s released in 2022 so far.

Gunna later reflected on his growing up days in a rough ‘neighborhood and saw unfair treatment of black people his entire life.He also added that he’s innocent and will never stop fighting to clear my name.

According to the charges, Gunna and YSL (Young Stoner Life) member including the founder Young Thug have been accused of racketeering, being members of a violent street gang, and more. Gunna and Thug’s bond has been denied multiple times.

Further in the letter, Gunna makes it clear that the picture of him that’s being painted is ugly and untrue. He vowed to continue working for his community after he was freed. Finishing up the letter Gunna defined the meaning behind his viral hit song and the phrase ‘pushin p’ “We still pushing P: Power, Prayer, Progress, Passion Productivity, Praise, Precision, Peace, Prosperity, Patience, Pride, and Persistence.” wrote Gunna.
