The 27 year old drill rapper, Avanti Frowner, also known as MoneyGangVontae was shot and killed during a robbery in NYC pharmacy.
According to reports, a rapper from Los Angeles was attacked inside a drugstore by four men in what authorities say was an attempted robbery. MoneyGangVontae was shot in the chest numerous times while one of the suspects removed a chain from his neck.
The 27-year-old rapper was taken to local St. Barnabas Hospital and pronounced dead. The tragic incident was caught on the pharmacy’s security cameras.
Frowner was discovered with gunshot wounds to the chest inside Amazing Pharmacy on East Tremont Avenue at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

The female worker, who was inside the pharmacy during the incident, said Frowner was begging for his life as the suspects shot him, “He said, ‘Please, please, we can talk, we can talk,” the source recalled.
The four suspects escaped on foot from the scene. There have been no arrests, and the investigation is still ongoing.
