Taraji P. Henson hosted the 2022 BET Awards for the second year in a row on Sunday night. The award winners were announced live from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater.
Doja Cat topped the nominees with six, Drake and Ari Lennox both received four, and a long number of musicians received three nods, including Kanye West, Lil Baby, Kendrick Lamar, Baby Keem, H.E.R., Tems, Silk Sonic, Future, Mary J. Blige, Jazmine Sullivan, and Chlöe.
The event also included a long list of performers, such as Lil Wayne, Jack Harlow, Chance the Rapper, Roddy Ricch, and more. Kanye West made a surprise appearance and handed the Lifetime Achievement award to Puff Daddy.
