Kendrick Lamar sends powerful message in support of Women’s Rights at Glastonbury Festival

Kendrick Lamar headlined the biggest U.K. Festival Glastonbury Festival just a few hours ago where the iconic rapper ended his hour-long performance with an important message in support of Women’s Rights.

Earlier this week the Supreme Court in U.S. overturns the 50-year-old Roe v Wade judgment guaranteeing access to abortion across the United States, which was described by the UN human rights chief as “a huge blow to women’s human rights and gender equality.”

Kendrick Lamar chanted at the end of his set during the outro of his song ‘Savior’s performance in support of Women’s Rights with “Godspeed to Women’s Rights / they judge you /they judged Christ” repeatedly with symbolic blood pouring on his face and a crown of thorns on his head.
