Since his long hiatus after the Astroworld tragedy, Travis Scott’s live shows have been getting frequent.
The 31-year-old rapper has recently been on an increasing number of shows. The rapper continues to do live events despite the cancellation of his headline performance at the Day N Vegas festival. The father of two has already performed at three separate stages this month.
On July 4th, Scott performed for fans at the Coney Island concert in Brooklyn, New York. The performance on Monday was part of the Day Party: Independence Day celebration.
According to the video published by TMZ, the Texas rapper paused mid-performance to instruct the audience to stop climbing up on a lighting truss at the outdoor venue.
In the footage, concertgoers can be seen sitting on the lighting fixture. The “Goosebumps” rapper eventually stops during one of his songs and tells his fans to “get down.”
In the video, he can also be heard telling people to take a step back and asks the audience if they’re okay.
“Just make sure you are okay though, my brother. You hear me?” he says.
