On July 7, a clip of Roddy’s latest performance at the Openair Frauenfeld Festival in Switzerland was shared on TikTok by Dennis Schweizer.
The videos show the Compton rapper performing his famous song “The Box,” before he suddenly pauses in the middle of a verse as a security guard and a random fan approach him from behind.
Security comes to take over and remove the individual who got on the stage during the snow. A minor scuffle breaks out between the festival personnel and a fan before Roddy Ricch decides to join in. A fan who was already on the ground tried to reach for the 23-year-old musician’s foot. Roddy responded by repeatedly kicking the concertgoer. The agitated attendee was immediately removed, and the performance resumed.

The incident occurred over a month after the “Die Young” rapper was arrested at the Governors Ball Music Festival in Queens, New York on weapons-related offenses, which were eventually dropped. Roddy’s fans were relieved when he was freed from jail just hours later and performed at Hot 97’s Summer Jam. During the performance, The young rapper led his fans to chant “Fuck the NYPD.”

Roddy isn’t the only rapper to get physical with a fan. Fetty Wap made news last week after a video emerged showing the 31-year-old rapper striking a fan in Iowa.
