Just a few hours ago the Chicago-based Rapper Lil Durk surprised everyone by bringing out his hometown’s legend Kanye West at Rolling Loud, Miami during his set.
Right before bringing out Kanye, Durk gave a shoutout to Cardi B for bringing the two together on her single ‘Hot Sh*t’. Right after Kanye came out to join Durk for the performance of ‘Hot Sh*t’. After that West performed his 2016 hit ‘Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1’.
Notably, Kanye was initially billed as the headliner of tonight’s show at Rolling Loud but just a few days ago it was announced Ye has pulled out and Kid Cudi would be replacing him. Rolling Loud said on Twitter: “Due to circumstances outside of our control, Ye will no longer be performing at Rolling Loud Miami 2022″
Rolling Loud’s cofounders addressed Kanye’s cancellation “We spent months working with him and his team on the performance. Unfortunately, Ye has decided that he will no longer be performing.”
After Kanye’s performance, Durk said to the crowd “They told me i couldn’t pull of this sh*t with Ye in this m***f**ker man”, West responded with “I appreciate you“. Watch the performance below:
