Mozzy begins 1-year Federal Gun Charge Sentence After Turning Himself In

According to the latest reports, Westcoast-based Rapper Mozzy has turned himself over to the police for a case related to federal gun charges from last year.

In January of last year, Mozzy was pulled over by the cops in Culver City, California over traffic violations. Upon the search Glock 26, 16 rounds of 9mm ammunition, and a “personal use” amount of marijuana was found in the Rapper’s car. He was then arrested and later released after posting $35K bail.

Just a day before yesterday i.e. July 28, Mozzy went to the Bureau of Prisons’ custody at the United States Penitentiary (USP) Atwater and turned himself according to the officials. He is now expected to be released on 23 July 2023, serving almost one year in prison.

Mozzy has issued a letter to the judge where he says “This case made me realize that everything I have accomplished and built can be taken away because of a single mistake or lapse in judgment”.

Just last Friday 35-year-old Rapper released his debut album ‘Survivor’s Guilt’ under Yo Gotti’s label CMG which featured Gotti himself, YG, Roddy Ricch, Saweetie, EST Gee, and more.
