The news surfaced earlier today that Pete Davidson is in trauma therapy as a result of Kanye West’s cyberbullying.
People magazine reports that Pete Davidson is seeking counseling for online bullying from the Chicago rapper. Last week, it was reported that the comedian had ended his 9-month romance with Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The two’s connection prompted Ye to make statements against Pete in the first place.
Following the breakup rumors, Kanye made a rare appearance on his Instagram account, mocking the former Saturday Night Live cast member. Ye shared a picture that read, “Skete Davidson Dead At 28” in a now-deleted post.
Kanye had previously made a series of postings ridiculing the 28-year-old comedian, which resulted in Ye’s Instagram account being banned.
People Magazin reports that Pete Davidson “has been in trauma therapy” since April of this year due to threatening postings made by the “Donda” rapper.
According to the source, Kanye’s “threatening posts” were “triggering” for Pete, who was already dealing with mental health issues. The insider also added that Pete “has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she has been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship.”
