Madonna says Kendrick Lamar is her dream collaboration

Pop icon Madonna was the latest guest on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon where she was asked by the host Are there any artist with whom she hasn’t worked before but eventually would like to.

The 63-year-old singer named Kendrick Lamar as one of her dreams collaborations and also praised his latest album.

I think there’s one artist i worship more than anything in life that i would love to collaborate with and that’s Kendrick Lamar. His new record (Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers) is like history-making… mind-bogglingly brilliant it’s insane,” remarked Madonna.

She then asked Jimmy if he had Kendrick on his show yet to which he replied yes. Kendrick appeared for an interview and a live performance at The Jimmy Fallon Show during the ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ release.

As far as guest features go Kendrick has been a no show in the last few years apart from a few under-the-radar collabs and working on his protege Baby Keem’s album ‘The Melodic Blue’. Madonna and Kendrick haven’t collaborated yet but one of Kendrick’s frequent producer DJ Dahi has worked on multiple songs off Madonna’s 2014 album ‘Rebel Hearts‘.
