Drake Gets Face Tattoo Dedicated To His Mother

Drake has become a member of the face-tattoo club.

In an Instagram post captioned “Sandra Gale,” the father-of-one proudly displayed a new face tattoo of his mother’s initials.

The Grammy-winning rapper and his mother have a very strong connection, and she has always been very supportive of his career. Prior to the release of his album Certified Lover Boy last year, Drizzy got loving words and flowers from his mother, which he shared on Instagram.

“Being your mother has been my life’s greatest treat,” Sandi wrote in her letter, “It has been a long hard road together. I want to celebrate you son, more than you will ever know. Love you more now and forever.”

Drake has also shown his love for his mother through lyrics, songs, and interviews throughout the years.

During the promotion of his third studio album, Nothing Was The Same, in 2013, Drizzy told Huffington Post:

“My mother is an incredible woman…I talk about her a lot on this album. She’s brought me to this point single-handedly. She is the most important person in my life.”

The Toronto rapper is now proudly tattooing his mother’s initials on his face.

On Instagram, the artist, @ n.a.l, also released a short clip of the 35-year-old rapper looking incredibly calm while getting the tattoo below his left eye.

Earlier this week, Drake made fun of his father Dennis Graham for having a tattoo of the rapper’s face on his shoulder. Drizzy tweeted a photo of his father’s arm with the caption,

“I was just sitting here thinking why you do me like this we family.”

Dennis jokingly replied to the post, stating that he attempted to alter the artwork couple of times:

“Hahaha I had 16 people to try to straighten things up, they are hurting me.”

Of course, Drake’s father shouldn’t be jealous of Sandi Graham since Drake had his father’s portrait tattooed on his wrist in 2014.
