Hit-Boy implies he wasn’t aware The Game was going to diss Eminem on his beat

A lot has been said over the last few days about Compton’s emcee The Game’s song ‘The Black Slim Shady’ off his latest LP ‘DRILLMATIC’ where he takes aims at his former Aftermath teammate Eminem.

In the 10-minute track, The Game took some personal shots at Slim Shady mentioning his mother, daughter, and ex-wife by the name he also accused Em of being racist. All of these shots notably are in the second half of the song i.e. 3rd and 4th verse of the song which is produced by Big Duke.

In a recent interview super producer Hit-Boy who has produced the first half of the track revealed that originally the song was meant to be a homage to Eminem.

At the DRILLMATIC release party, Hit-Boy told Rap Sheet Hollywood “The Black Slim Shady s***, the first half he’s (The Game) paying homage to Slim that was the half I did. I love my n**** Game I love Eminem too. He just started to go crazy in the second half” said Hit-Boy adding “I go back to my session I’m chopping samples I’m kicking it for hours. I go back to his s*** he got Black Slim Shady over my beat.” tells Hit-Boy.

Westcoast hitmaker also tells that he produced like 30 tracks for The Game’s album and Game ended up putting six tracks out of it. The Game’s album ‘DRILLMATIC’ includes 30 songs and production from the likes of Mike Zombie, Kanye West, and more.
