Kanye West has been making headlines since he wore a “White Lives Matter” shirt at the YZY Season 9 Presentation during Paris Fashion Week.
Many people criticized the Chicago rapper over the shirt’s design, but Ye isn’t going down without a fight. He first posted an Instagram statement calling the “Black Lives Matter” campaign a “scam,” and today he doubled down on his ‘White Lives Matter’ clothing, writing in the caption:
“Here’s my latest response when people ask me why I made a tee that says white lives matter… THEY DO.”

Puff Diddy, Kanye’s close friend and rap legend, recently spoke out against the ‘white lives matter’ t-shirt design.
Diddy stated in an Instagram video that, while he respects Kanye as a “freethinker,” he cannot support the highly criticized design with a provocative message.
“I am not about to be addressing every last thing that is going on in the world on the internet but the thing I do have to address is this ‘white lives matter’ t-shirt,” Puff says in the clip. “I have always been there and I will always support my brother Kanye as a freethinker. But the ‘white lives matter’ t-shirt, I do not rock with it, you know what I am saying? I am not with it.”
