Kanye West discusses wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirt and what his father thought of the design.
“My dad as an educated ex-black panther texted me ‘White lives matter hahahahaha’ and I said ‘I thought the shirt was a funny shirt, I thought the idea of me wearing it was funny’ and I said ‘Dad, why do you think it funny’ and he said, ‘just a black mad, stating the obvious’… That is my favorite response. Now, people, they are looking for an explanation and people say ‘As an artist, you don’t have to give an explanation but as a leader you do.’ So, the answer to why I wrote ‘White Lives Matter’ on a shirt is because they do, That’s the obvious thing.”
Kanye explains why the shirt design was so controversial and why he believes Black Live Matter movement was a “scam”
The same people that stripped us of our identity and labeled us as a color have told us what it means to be black and the vernacular that we are supposed to have.”
Kanye on how media twists the truth.
“The media ridiculed me for getting the house next door to Kim to see my children and they even said that I was stalking her and her new boyfriend because I bought the house next door to see my children.”

Kanye went on to describe how some industries, particularly the fashion industry, are efficient at manipulating influencers into thinking a specific way.

Kanye West describes the situation with Gabriella Karefa-Johnson. In case you missed it, Ye uploaded a picture of Gabby on Instagram and stated that he didn’t like her footwear. Gigi Hadid, a high-end supermodel, commented under the post, calling Kanye “a bully and a joke.” Ye claims that the entire thing was staged to make him out to be a ‘bad guy.’

“There’s a group mob. It’s like liberal nazis that will go up and attack you. like I said, everyone is like Anna Wintour is your friend, I’m like this Gabby girl [Gabriella Karefa-Johnson] and Gigi [Hadid], and these people, they would have never said anything negative unless they got the ‘OKAY’ from Condé Nast. Unless they got the ‘OKAY’ from Anna… It started off as them having this black girl [ Gabriella] comment and say, ‘I felt traumatized when I saw a black man wearing this t-shirt, wearing something he wasn’t allowed to wear’ and then I went and said, ‘Hey, I don’t like your boots, I know Anna Wintour doesn’t like your boots and you’re not a fashion person.’ Then people started to say I was a bully, but it was a set-up.”

Kanye then described how the fashion business and media sources make Lizzo feel awful about losing weight, and how the promotion of being overweight in the media is a scheme to ‘kill black people.’

“When Lizzo loses 10 pounds and announces it, they attack her for losing weight because the media wants to put out the perception that being overweight is the new goal when it’s actually unhealthy. Let’s get aside the fact of whether it’s fashion and Vogue, which it’s not, or if someone thinks it’s attractive, it’s actually clinically unhealthy, and for people to promote that it’s demonic… It’s the genocide of the black race, they want to kill us in any way they can… If we saw ourselves as a people and not as a race, then we will treat our people better.”
