Fresh off his latest joint album release with Drake ‘Her Loss’, 21 Savage went viral a few days ago for claiming that he can beat anyone from his XXL Freshman Class in a Verzuz hits battle.
Along with Savage, 2016’s XXL Freshman Class is considered the most important one in recent times due to its list of current rap stars and hitmakers. The full list of rappers that were in 2016’s XXL Freshman Class is Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Desiigner, Lil Dicky, Anderson.Paak, Dave East, Denzel Curry , G Herbo and Lil Yachty.
Inevitably someone was going to respond to 21 Savage’s claims of beating anyone from this heavy list of Rappers and Kodak Black who also released a new album “Kutthroat Bill Vol. 1” recently was the first to address Savage’s statement made in a clubhouse appearance. Hopping on Instagram live, Kodak says “That’s how you should feel you know what i mean? I will put myself over any n*** any day” he then calls cap on 21 Savage’s claims by stating “That’s cap. You know you cap”
One of the other Rappers included in the 2016 Freshman List, ‘Panda’ hitmaker Desiigner also reacted to 21 Savage’s statements on his IG Live with “You are 21 ….i went platinum 20 times”.
