Late Atlanta Rapper Takeoff’s Uncle and a half of their newly formed Duo “Unc and Phew” , Quavo has finally opened up about his unfortunate passing. Takeoff who passed away on November 1st in Houston during a shooting incident was laid to rest at the funeral held last evening.
Quavo who was quiet on social media since Takeoff’s passing took to Instagram today to share a lengthy message where he describes growing up with Takeoff, also how they got into Rap and continuing his legacy.

Quavo begins the letter addressing Takeoff directly “It’s so hard to tell you imma miss you cause you always with me and we did everything together” wrote Quavo reminiscing their first dream of being in WWE “Remember our first dream was to be tag team partners in WWE. Thought we was gonna be pro wrestlers”
( Quavo and Takeoff formed a duo named Unc and Phew and release their first joint album titled “Only Built For Infinity Links” weeks before Takeoff’s death)
On their passion for music Quavo credits Takeoff for dreaming about being a Rapper “it was HIS dream to become a rapper cuz i didn’t kno what i wanted to do” he also cited their early influence in Rap music “Growing up he knew every song off the Hot Boyz album every lyric word to word..we won the Boys and Girls Club talent show together performing “Get Ya Roll On” by Big Timers , it was all good then”
Quavo credited Takeoff for creating Migos’ viral triplet flow “He created this Triplet flow and the rest was history”. Quavo continued the emotional letter by saying he’s proud to be in Takeoff’s life and proud to be his Uncle, “You will continue to send your blessings down from heaven and i will continue to keep your name alive”
