Late Rapper Takeoff’s former Migos teammate Offset has finally opened up about the death of his longtime friend and collaborator on Instagram.
Offset wrote in the caption of his post which includes a message, clips, and pics with Takeoff, “Dear Take, doesn’t feel real posting you like this….This still doesn’t feel like reality.” Offset has been understandably silent on social media since the unfortunate passing of Takeoff on November 1st.
In his first message to his late friend Offset says “The pain you have left me with is unbearable My heart is shattered” mourning the loss of his friend he further says “I have been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream”. On the memory of Takeoff, he says “Every time you would see me, you didn’t give me a dap you gave me a hug. I wish i could give you a hug one last time.”
The 30-year-old rapper concluded his emotional message by saying “Even though you will always be with us throw me a lil sign or a beautiful dream. I love you forever,4l and after”
Offset’s message comes after a couple of days Takeoff was laid to rest in Atlanta, where a star-studded private memorial was held for the late rapper which was attended by Quavo, Takeoff, Drake, Justin Bieber, Cardi B, City Girls, and more.
