Drake Reacts to “Rich Flex” Memes

Drake recently addressed the infamous “Rich Flex” memes that have been circulating on the internet since the release of the song.

Soon after the trend became popular, 21 Savage responded to the Tik-Tok clips over a live stream, saying, “They be tripping.” Now, a month later, Drake too gives his opinion on the memes.

The Canadian rapper is unfazed by the mockery of his lyrics in “Rich Flex.” During a promotional interview for his partnership with the online crypto betting platform, Stake, the Champaign Papi talked about how it feels to be the target of so many jokes.

“I understand, like, after all these years, that, I feel like I have a polarizing presence,” he said. “I am almost a character in people’s views and therefore there is a running dialogue. There are jokes. You know, you are either the villain to some people or a hero to some people. It is what it is. It just comes with the territory.”
Drizzy continued: “As you grow in success, you also grow in a split opinion. You grow in all different ways. But ultimately, I have just found a way. I have always been able to laugh at myself, but I really do feel now that mentally I am able to separate the two. So, I just want to stay in the zone, that is basically my resolution… I feel really good right now.”
