There’s been a new development in Young Thug and YSL members’ high-profile RICO case. One of the affiliates Unfoonk who’s a brother of Young Thug has been released after entering negotiated guilty plea on Tuesday,
Unfoonk real name Quantavious Grier pleaded guilty to one count of violating the state’s RICO act and one count of theft by receiving stolen property. He will receive 10 years of probation and also not allowed to be in contact with his brother Young Thug.
After being released just a few hours ago Atlanta-based Rapper Unfoonk took to his Instagram story where he responded to trolls who were calling him “Snitch”, “rat” etc.
“Damn people really think i told on my brother SMH , Show me on my paperwork i told on anybody lol , i’m not fenna entertain any of it. Peace and Blessings” wrote Unfoonk.
Just last weekend star Rapper from YSL Gunna was released after pleading guilty, who also had to face such allegations from fans. Gunna issued a statement clearing his stance “While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way.”
Apart from Gunna and Unfoonk , Atlanta rappers Slimelife Shawty, Gunna, and Lil Duke and co-defendant Walter Murphy all entered negotiated guilty pleas last week and have been released from jail. Now the total remaining number of defendants in the case is 23.
