Pittsburg-based Rapper Wiz Khalifa has appeared on DJ Superstar Jay’s show SuperstarTV where the Rapper discussed his career, latest album “Multiverse” and much more.
In the middle of the conversation, Wiz was asked who he wants to do a fun Verzuz battle of hits for hits with? Taylor Gang head immediately responded with ” Uh ..[Lil] Wayne. That could be fun. Cause Wayne’s a really dope performer. So him and me going back n forth like performing bangers..that should be hard” aid Wiz added that “..we both smoke and i think that would be more like a concert than a verzuz”
The host then asked Khalifa to name another artist against whom he would like to against in the Verzuz Wiz named Kid Cudi noting that he and Cud both got a “multi-faceted audience” and he also has “some classics“. Later the 35-year-old Rapper made it clear that Wayne is at top of his list for Verzuz.
Both Weezy and Wiz have collided on a few tracks like “Sucker For Pain”, “Living Right”, “Work Hard Play Hard” (Remix), etc. In the hits section, some might give Lil Wayne an upper hand as the Rapper just earned his first diamond certification with Lollipop plus he has a plethora of hits in his bag, on the other hand, Wiz Khalifa shouldn’t be counted out as well.
Last month Wayne was asked who he thinks is a perfect opponent in a Verzuz for him and Young Money artists, to which the YMCMB Rapper replied with Jay-Z’s Roc A Fella Records which includes the likes of Cam’Ron, Kanye, and more.
