Iggy Azalea has responded to media claims that she earned $307,000 in 24 hours on OnlyFans.
Only 5 days have passed since the ‘Fancy’ creator launched her OnlyFans account. Many people were surprised by the revelation since Iggy had previously dismissed the idea of ever joining the site. Despite many fans accusing her of being hypocritical, Iggy claimed that she wasn’t fully aware of the concept of OnlyFans when she made those comments.
The 32-year-old rapper announced her partnership with OnlyFans through her social media accounts on January 13. On Twitter she wrote:
“SURPRISE! I’m dropping a mixed-media project called ‘Hotter Than Hell’. There are photographs, visual artist collabs, videos, merch & all kinds of aesthetically pleasing, hot-as-hell things happening this year.”
Several rumors circulated yesterday suggesting that Iggy made $307,000 in 24 hours on the subscription-based platform. Despite the fact that no source has verified the claim, the figure is not far from the truth as Iggy charges $25 per month to subscribe to her account and the number of followers is visible to everyone.
However, shortly after the story emerged, The Australian rapper rushed to Twitter to deny the reports, stating they were false.
“Lol, Y’all just be saying s-t to say s-t,” she wrote. “Cause that number was pulled outta thin air.”
Iggy doubled down on her statement with another tweet that reads:
“With love. I will not share what I make on OF, in the same way, I did not share what I earned selling my music catalog. Amounts being reported do not come from a valid source.”
