One of the hottest couples in music Rihanna and Asap Rocky never miss an opportunity to show support for each other in public. One such moment occurred just now during Rihanna’s Oscar live performance.

Rihanna who was nominated in “Best Original Category” for her song from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s song “Lift Me Up” performed the song live during the awards show. The performance and nomination was both Rihanna’s first apperance at the Oscars.

An emotive R&B ballad “Lift Me Up” released in November 2022 , was written alongside Ludwig Göransson and Ryan Coogler, as well as Nigerian rising artist Tems, as a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, who played King T’Challa, the protagonist on the original Black Panther.
