Gunna made his return this Friday as the YSL Rapper who was arrested last year along with his crew last year in RICO charges released his comeback single titled “Bread & Butter” along with a music video.
Upon the track’s release fans suspected that the 28-year-old Rapper might have taken shots at his frequent collaborators Lil Baby and Lil Durk. In the track Gunna raps about the people switching on him once the news of him taking a plea broke out
“You b***-a** n**** got me as the topic of the chat
You switched on me when you know you in business with a rat (Lil Durk)
And the boy that’s like your brother, and nobody speak on that”
Gunna hopped on DJ Akademiks Instagram comments section denied the rumors that he’s aiming those bars at Lil Baby after Akademiks wrote “I just wanna know why Gunna talking about Lil Baby like dis….Holllyyyy”. Gunna responded with “That’s Cap..I’m letting the world know my story”
Despite the another strong rumor that Gunna might have been dropped from Young Stoner Life after taking the plea deal, Gunna’s single “bread & Butter” is released under the roster and promoted by its social media. In the song Gunna also countered snitching allegations saying that he fell for Lawyers and DA’s trick “Never gave no statement or agree to take no stand on ’em /On whatever you niggas on and trust me, I’ma stand on it
