One of the icons of Hip-Hop Andre 3000 teamed with Big Boi to form Outkast and deliver some classic records and projects. Despite his other half releasing two studio albums on his own, Andre is yet to release an album but he has been giving fans a taste of his music by appearing in several guest features over the years.
Now the fans’ wishes seem to be fulfilled as Run The Jewels member and fellow Atlanta emcee Killer Mike has revealed in an interview with Sway In The Morning that Andre is readying up his debut solo album. Andre has appeared as a guest feature on Killer Mike’s latest album “Michael” on the track “Scientists and Engineers” which also includes another Atlanta star Rapper Future.
In the interview, Mike said that Andre 3000 sent him another record which has 7 minutes verse of his but the fans will have to wait to listen to the track. He then revealed Andre has already played 9 songs off of his album and he’s heading to meet him soon where the Outkast legend will play him rest of the album.
Before Killer Mike’s album “Michael”, Andre 3000’s last guest feature was two years ago on Kanye West’s song “Life Of Party” which was surrounded by the result of conflict between Drake and Ye. In a statement released Andre 3000 said “It’s unfortunate that it was released in this way and two artists i love are going back and forth”
