Harlem-based Rapper and former Diplomats member Jim Jones went on a rant earlier this year on multiple platforms that Pusha T is not a Top 50 Rapper and asked to name 5 Pusha T songs.
“He’s nice as sh** he could Rap his a** off but what has he done? Nobody wants to be like him nobody wants to dress like him” said Jim Jones reacting to Billboard’s Top 50 Rappers list which ranked Pusha T at #29.
At the same time Jim Jones was lashing out at Push he also crowned Drake who is a well-known foe of Pusha T as Best Rapper Of All time.
Now Pusha T has decided to respond to Jim Jones, during the Louis Vuitton Fashion Show in Paris hosted by new director Pharrell Williams a snippet of the song was previewed while Push and his brother No Malice were walking on the ramp. In the track, Pusha seems to aim at Jim Jones by referring to Jones trying to get a collab with Drake as he performed with him at Harlem earlier this year and his diamond chains:
“I’m watching your fame escape relevance, we all in a room but here’s the elephant/ You’re chasing a feature out of your element. And those lab diamonds under inspection”
Jim Jones has now reacted to Pusha’s diss on his Instagram with a clip where he’s laughing and in the caption, he asks “Let me know if they serious cause My Name is My Name #Capo” referring to Pusha’s debut studio album My Name Is My Name.
