50 Cent joined XXL for discussing his Final Lap Tour which kickstarted this weekend, 20 Year anniversary of his debut album “Get Rich Or Die Tryin” , his new collaboration with NAS, his friendship with Eminem, and much more.
While discussing his lack of awards despite delivering the most successful debut album in Rap, 50 bring up JAY-Z and implied that Roc Nation Head won a plethora of Grammys due to his association with star singer Beyonce
“Even JAY-Z’s career you can look at that and say his association with Beyonce is when he started receiving 16-17 Grammys since he’s been with Beyonce and you go prior to that …one! That’s what i’m saying ..that came as an association. You see the kids even have GRAMMYs like they don’t sing yet..they don’t Rap yet and they have GRAMMys” said 50 Cent calling it “Business trophies”.
Well despite Fif taking subtle aim at Hov he miscounted his Grammys award cause Jay won a total of 24 throughout his career a record for any Rapper in history.
50 Cent has a history of taking aim at Jay-Z as last year he implied that the Roc Nation boss didn’t want him to perform at Superbowl, on his now-deleted Instagram post. Fif shared a news article that said Eminem forced JAY-Z to include 50 Cent in the line-up “Why would he have to say that should be the question” asked 50.
