Lil Wayne and Nas inducted into Billboard’s Hall Of Fame

Hip-Hop Royalties Lil Wayne and Nas were honored with Billboard’s Hall Of Fame Award earlier today at an event held in Los Angeles to celebrate Hip-Hop’s 50 Year anniversary.

Both Rap icons also covered Billboard’s Hip-Hop/R&B Power Players Magazine issue last week. In the magazine’s issue, Lil Wayne said of Hip-Hop turning 50 years “I think it probably means more to me than I even know, because I am still in it, a deep part of it, and I’m still learning every day. Hip-hop will never be over. “

Nas also remarked on Hip-Hop celebrating 50 years, “To see that we’re here and [hip-hop is] thriving [is incredible]. The art form is crazy right now. That’s a beautiful thing,”

Watch both Nas and Lil Wayne accepting their awards for Billboard’s Hall Of Fame along with their respective speeches.
