“Rent Money” is a song by Future from self-titled FUTURE album, produced by DJ Khaled, Chef Tate and The Beat Bully. The song is about moving drugs to pay for rent money. The song references many famous drug traffickers and criminal organizations who pushed work throughout the 20th and 21st centuries.
In the song, Future raps: “I make the blogs with ya b–ch ’cause I’m ruthless / I make the blogs with ya b–ch ’cause I’m ruthless”
In late 2016, Future allegedly had an affair with Larsa Pippen, the wife of renowned NBA player Scottie Pippen. Images and information of them hanging out together made a splash on the internet. Larsa and Scottie nearly divorced in October 2016, but have since reconciled. However, on February 19, 2017, two days after FUTURE was released, Larsa posted an image of herself on Instagram with the caption, “The heart wants what the heart wants.” Future wrote a comment on the post that contained a yellow heart emoji and the word “Forever.”
