Detroit rapper Icewear Vezzo has released his latest EP, UNDEFEATED, on March 7, 2025. This nine-track project, spanning 21 minutes, marks Vezzo’s return to independent artistry following his tenure with Quality Control Music.
The EP features collaborations with notable Detroit artists, including Big Sean and Skilla Baby on “WORTH SOMETHING,” and GT on “RICHER THAN I EVER BEEN.” The production showcases heavy basslines and choppy drums, characteristic of Michigan’s rap scene. Notably, “STREETS AIN’T THE SAME” samples Warren G and Nate Dogg’s classic track “Regulate,” adding a nostalgic touch to Vezzo’s street narratives.
UNDEFEATED is available for streaming on major platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify. Vezzo announced the EP’s release on social media, encouraging fans to listen and watch the “STREETS AIN’T THE SAME” music video on his YouTube channel.
This release underscores Icewear Vezzo’s resilience and commitment to his craft, solidifying his position in Detroit’s hip-hop landscape.
