Incarcerated Rapper Tory Lanez has released a new emotional song titled ‘Dear Kai’ dedicated to his son Kai’Lon who’s just 7 year old and will celebrate his 8th next week.
One of the notable thing about Tory’s latest track is it takes inspiration and the instrumental from one of the greats Eminem’s classic song ‘Mockingbird’ which the Rap legend dedicated to his daughters and it was released nearly 20 years ago.
Tory Lanez has been behind prison since 2023 as he was convicted of shooting Rapper Megan Thee Stallion and is serving his prison sentence of 10 years Since then the Toronto based singer/Rapper has been sharing his unreleased music as part of his ‘Prison Tapes’ series’ Recently he also dropped a whole new project titled “Peterson” which was entirely recorded behind the bars and includes appearance from his son Kai’Lon as well.
In the new music video ‘Dear Kai’ shared on Tory Lanez’ Youtube there’s clips included of Tory’s son sending him video messages and old footages of both of them. You can watch full video below:
