Joyner Lucas drops another Skepta diss track “Round 2KO”

The rap world has been set ablaze as Joyner Lucas and Skepta engage in a fiery transatlantic feud. It all began when Skepta released a diss track titled “Friendly Fire” on July 11, 2025, taking aim at Joyner with sharp lyrics mocking his style and questioning his credibility. Skepta’s track, filled with witty wordplay and grime-heavy beats, included lines like “Where I’m from, I’m a GOAT / Where you’re from, you’re a joke,” signaling his disdain for Joyner’s brand of American rap. The track was calculated but cutting, positioning Skepta as both provocateur and defender of UK rap culture.

Joyner Lucas wasted no time responding, dropping “Nobody Cares” just four days later on July 15. Known for his rapid-fire delivery, Joyner didn’t hold back, accusing Skepta of being irrelevant outside London and calling out his ties to Drake as inconsequential. In his scathing bars, Joyner rapped, “Nobody cares about how you and Drizzy are close / Or how you invented UK rap, but still ain’t top ten on your Coast.” His rebuttal was both personal and precise, aimed at dismantling Skepta’s legacy while asserting dominance in the rap arena.

Skepta struck back again, releasing a follow-up track during an Instagram livestream. His second effort, dubbed “Round 2,” didn’t land as forcefully, at least in Joyner’s view. Lucas publicly mocked Skepta’s bars—particularly a line that rhymed his name with “loads of mucus”—and sarcastically captioned a video of himself reacting with laughter: “It’s up now my boy.” Despite one bar that he admitted “hit,” Joyner made it clear he believed Skepta was losing momentum and wouldn’t recover from this lyrical exchange.

Now Joyner is back with another diss track “Round 2KO” You can listen to the track below:
