New York’s own Joey Bada$$ sat down with Breakfast Club to talk about his upcoming album “Lonely At The Top” , his battle with Westcoast and much more.
In the middle of the conversation Joey was about how he felt J Cole’s apology to Kendrick Lamar during the last year’s high profile Rap battle
“I understood it..i just feel like he should have never engaged if he’s gonna be about that” . “It’s commendable if he felt that he did something out of pocket and he is like it’s not me yo..forgive me. I respect that, it takes a real man to do that but i feel like he should have never engaged”
The 28 year old emcee hailing from Brooklyn unleashed a track at the start of the year titled “Sorry Not Sorry” which can easily be perceived as mocking Cole as it also contains a bar referring to J.Cole’s project “Might Delete Later”
