Fivio Foreign appears to be turning his frustration with 21 Savage’s controversial “f**k the streets” comments into momentum, with his sights seemingly set on Atlanta as a whole.
Tensions escalated after 21 Savage took issue with Fivio’s recent criticism, which targeted both him and the message behind “f**k the streets.” The situation grew even more heated when Latto—widely believed to be 21 Savage’s boo—publicly showed support for him online. In response, Fivio seems ready to seize the moment, recently previewing a new song on social media that sounds far more like a diss than a loose track.
DJ Akademiks TV shared the snippet on Instagram, and while none of the lyrics directly name names, the context is hard to miss. The record clearly addresses the ongoing dispute and even appears to take shots at Atlanta hip-hop more broadly. The Brooklyn drill rapper has previously clashed with Young Thug and others associated with that circle, adding more fuel to the narrative.
Some of the most notable bars from the preview include: “It’s me against that whole fing rat pack / I set them up to promote my song, now it’s a rat trap / And I was ready for that backlash… / My name stretch far through these States, and I can back that… / Real nas down 3, but I’ma bring us back… / The only thing the A ever made was cap.”
For those unaware, the beef between Fivio Foreign and 21 Savage began after Savage posted “f**k the streets” online, a statement that drew support from several Atlanta rappers and artists beyond the city, including Young Thug. Fivio pushed back publicly, calling the stance hypocritical and accusing Savage of distancing himself from the very culture and artistic roots that helped build his image. He later went as far as labeling 21 Savage a fake gangster during a DJ Akademiks interview.
The WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS? rapper fired back with an intense on-camera rant, questioning Fivio’s credibility, success, and standing in the game. Matters escalated further when Fivio shared a clip involving Latto, adding a personal layer to the feud.
The video in question was a moment from Latto’s 2020 XXL Freshman Cypher alongside Fivio, where she jokingly suggested a potential hookup with him. Latto later responded by defending her alleged partner, making it clear where she stood. Despite that, the situation appears far from over—and not just musically.
Some fans have also speculated that Young Thug may have taken aim at Fivio through a supposed tweet-and-delete, though this remains unconfirmed and largely based on interpretation. Whether this drama leads to another round of diss tracks or further online exchanges remains to be seen.
