Lil Durk has just called Lil Baby from federal custody while performing “Every Chance I Get” in Chicago last night.
Lil Durk is facing federal charges related to a murder-for-hire plot. He is accused of orchestrating a plan to kill a rival rapper in Los Angeles, which resulted in the death of the rival’s cousin instead. Specifically, he faces charges of conspiracy, using interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, and firearms charges. These charges stem from a 2022 shooting that occurred at a gas station near the Beverly Center in Los Angeles.
“EVERY CHANCE I GET” is the 2nd track on DJ Khaled’s 12th studio album KHALED KHALED. It is produced by Tennessee based Tay Keith and it features Atlanta rapper Lil Baby and Chicago rapper Lil Durk. While Khaled and Baby had collabed on two different occasions prior to this on You Stay and Weather the Storm, this is the first collab between Khaled and Durk. Lil Baby and Durk however, have numerous collaborations to their names and there is even a joint mixtape between them being teased to be released soon.
“Free Smurk in this b–tch man, we got Smurk on the phone right now!” says DJ during the performance. You can watch the video below:
